Project Team |

MFCI consists primarily of a five person project team. Members of the team are experienced financial professionals with specialized expertise in general purpose municipal financings. All team members are knowledgeable of Michigan public finance law and have extensive experience in public interaction and presentations.
The financial advisory team is led by Mr. John R. Axe, the Chairman, former President, and Co-founder of MFCI. Mr. Axe is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the team members to assure the timeliness of reports, coordinate work schedules and meetings with the clients, bond counsel, consultants, and other working group members, and has specific responsibilities for much of the team’s scope of services. He serves as primary contact between MFCI and our clients. Mr. Axe is located in our Grosse Pointe Farms office and is accessible and able to commit to be immediately available.
Louis H. Schimmel, President, works as a consultant on specific projects and In Mr. Axe's absence, will be available to oversee the day-to-day activities.
Meredith A. Shanle, Senior Vice President, provides analytical support to the municipality. She is responsible for disclosure documentation and marketing support as well as analysis preparation.
Dale E. Deis, Senior Vice President, provides quantitative analysis for municipalities. He performs analyses such as refunding analysis as well as any feasibility studies.
Deborah M. Hartson, Vice President, provides after sale analysis and support. She coordinates all closings and handles all post-sale filings with the State and Federal Government.
Samantha Van Gorder, Assistant Vice President, assists Ms. Shanle and Ms. Hartson in all their responsibilities. |
